What is DISC?
DISC is an assessment that determines your personality and behavioral traits to raise self-awareness.
DISC is an acronym that stands for:
- Dominance – confident and results-oriented
- Influence – open and places a high value on relationships
- Steadiness – dependable and place a high value on cooperation
- Conscientiousness – emphasis quality, accuracy, and competency
Our personality traits determine how we receive and perceive communication. How do you communicate in a way that makes someone feel safe? Start by learning the dominant fears of each particular personality type:
- D – Being taken advantage of
- I – Being rejected
- S – Loss of security
