1. Purpose & Scope
Convene Communities, LLC (“Convene Communities,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same.
This DMCA Policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement on our peer-to-peer platform and how users can submit counter-notifications when they believe their material was removed in error.
It applies to all websites, mobile apps, and services operated by Convene Communities.

4. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that material available through our Site infringes your copyright, please send a written notification containing all of the following to our Designated Agent:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered, a representative list.
3. Identification of the infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (URL, community name, or screenshot).
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
5. Processing of Takedown Notices
Upon receipt of a compliant notice, Convene Communities will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user who posted the content.
- Provide instructions for submitting a counter-notification.
We may terminate repeat infringers consistent with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
6. Submitting a Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, send a written counter-notice to the Designated Agent that includes:
1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material removed or disabled and its former location.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina (or, if outside the U.S., the district where your address is located) and that you will accept service of process from the complainant or their agent.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
Convene Communities will terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers or who repeatedly post content that violates others’ rights, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
We may remove content pre-emptively if we believe it infringes or poses legal risk.
8. Non-Copyright IP Complaints

- Your contact information.
- Proof of ownership (e.g., registration number).
- Details of the alleged infringement.
We will review and respond under applicable law.
