Brayden Currin and Matt Currin discuss how younger people can use their tech-savvy, creative minds to develop innovative ways to use the app.
How is the convene platform applicable to life as a young adult?
Well, as young adults, many of us are facing major life transitions or have a major transition just ahead on the horizon. For example, as I finish up my undergraduate studies, I will soon graduate and transition into life in the real world.
How will I find a job?
How can I market myself to potential employers?
How can I polish up my resume?
How can I prepare myself for job interviews? Where should I search for job opportunities?
These are just a few questions that most college graduates must find the answers to as they transition out of college life.
The Convene Community platform provides a place where young people at similar stages in life can interact with one another as they navigate these transitions. In addition, they will have the opportunity to learn from those who have recently gone through these same transitions. Sure, we can ask our parents how they tackled the transition from college life to the real world, but how long ago did that happen? Twenty years ago? Thirty years ago?
In reality, times have changed and we are probably better off learning from those who have recently overcome these challenges. Convene Communities provide a platform where a library of experiences from other young people can be built for the benefit of our peers.
There is also room for creativity in how young people might use the Convene Communities platform.
It can be used as a place where like-minded young adults can interact and discuss similar interests, such as popular music, beauty routines, workout plans or even something like finding the best place to go on spring break. The sky is the limit for how we, as young adults, can use the Convene platform. We welcome you to adapt our community-based platform to meet your passions and interests. We embrace outside-of-the-box ideas and creative thinking.
