We all have those special moments in life that we try to capture forever on film, and Ethan uses photography to tell his story.
Matt and Ethan discuss how powerful photography is in its ability to unlock old memories and the importance of capturing those moments on film. A photo of Ethan scoring the winning soccer goal with a pass from his brother Noah in the state championship freezes the moment to be enjoyed later in life. A photo can trigger a memory and releases the details like the thickness of the humidity in the air, the roar of the crowd, and the joyous feeling of accomplishment.
Ethan recently graduated from UNC Greensboro and plans to become a PA. He is a passionate, talented photographer striving to improve his skills every day while serving God. Ethan returned from a medical mission trip where he captured the raw emotion of each subject in the photos documenting his experience. Each pictures tells a story and he has a real eye for snapping the picture at just the right moment.
He will be sharing his stories through the 311 Photography group and experiences within Convene Photography and looks forward to sharing his knowledge of photography and teaching others.
With another mission trip planned for this June, Ethan will surely capture more amazing images; and we will be following his journey.
You can find more of Ethan’s photography on Flickr and he will be posting stories and photos inside Convene Photography.
