She helps overwhelmed families and special needs families get organized by helping them identify what has created the disorder in their lives, and by helping them create systems so they can get back in control of their possessions and homes. Wendy also works with families like herself that are struggling with ADD, depression, PTSD and anxiety.

Intersect, Inc. is a coalition of community members representing schools, health care, faith-based organizations, and businesses that formed in 2002 to address tobacco issues within Madison County, Indiana. Funding for this coalition originated from funds through the 1998 Master Settlement Agreement between the tobacco companies and 48 states. After several years, the coalition began to see the need to expand the focus to include alcohol and other drug prevention. The coalition obtained its not-for-profit status in 2004 and became incorporated in 2005. Currently, the coalition operates from two major grants, the Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Agency (ITPC) and the Federal Drug Free Communities Grant.

Lisa began her career as a Social Security Claims Specialist but had to leave in 2014 after receiving an injury that left her disabled and unable to perform her duties any longer. She didn't lose her passion for helping others, so she pivoted her path to encourage and educate others in their claims process.
Though she was able to use her knowledge to secure SSDI benefits for herself, she wanted to do more. So, she started to do what she knew best - helping disabled people (in particular Veterans) navigate the Social Security Disability process.
